Thiamine Nitrate (C₁₂H₁₇N₅O₄S) is a water-soluble vitamin B₁ salt more stable than hydrochloride form.
Characteristics:
• Appearance: white/off-white crystals
• Solubility: 2.7 g/100 mL in water at 25 °C
• Stability: stable in alkaline vs. HCl salt
• Melting Point: 196–200 °C (decomp)
• pH: 6.0–7.5 (2% solution)
